All rubber materials shall be certified, such as stator, rubber cuffs and seals. The oil used shall be approved. All welding shall be carried out by a licensed welder and the design shall be such that no pumped media can be trapped when cleaning the pump. It is a great advantage if the pump is prepared for quick and easy cleaning. This is often done by equipping the pump with CIP connections that allow washing and cleaning to be done with the pump in place. Clean In Place.
We design the pump exactly according to the customer's wishes and are happy to present a drawing before production begins. For each pump, we have a checklist with all the quality points to be met, which is signed off internally before delivery.
Food grade pumps with CIP
With a clean in place connection, known as a CIP connection, it is easier to thread on and off the appropriate connections for fast and efficient cleaning.
It is a process that enables on-site cleaning in your production and ensures a hygienic procedure, through a mixture of heat, water and chemicals. This makes you more efficient in terms of both time and costs.
MAF Pumps specialises in pumps for viscous media. AHLEX food grade pumps can handle a high level of viscosity. One aspect to consider in order to use the pump for food is that it has some type of Food Grade, a special type of welding material - a prerequisite for maintaining a high level of sanitation. This is important because the products come into direct contact with the food being handled, which should not be contaminated and cause harm to the end consumer.

Do you need help with installation or dismantling?
We offer our customers to have delivered pumps installed on site by our technicians. Perhaps an old worn-out pump is to be replaced, in which case we offer to demolish and dismantle the old one and install the new one, including any pipework.
