We have made installations at paper and pulp mills to be able to pump with twigs in the slurry. Many use this pump to circulate over VVX in digesters. In addition to the circulation, you gain that the sludge is distributed which improves the digestion process. The pumps are also used for our jet agitation systems that provide complete agitation in e.g. digesters without any moving parts inside the tank.
