The equipment has a built-in thickener in the flocculation tank, which means that it can handle thin TS contents while delivering high performance. At Alfta treatment plant, the incoming TS content varies between 0.6 and 1.1 %. By measuring the TS content continuously, the Volute is adapted to run at a constant capacity. When the machine is running at a constant capacity, polymer consumption can often be optimised and minimised. The Volute achieves an output TS content of approximately 25% with a very low polymer consumption of 4 g\/kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mafpump.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Alfta2-1024x990.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2732\" width=\"467\" height=\"451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mafpump.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Alfta2-1024x990.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mafpump.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Alfta2-300x290.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mafpump.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Alfta2-768x743.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 467px) 100vw, 467px\" \/><figcaption>The container is filled with dry sludge of approximately 25%TS.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We always recommend our customers to have a homogeneous mix of incoming sludge.
