Mixing in digesters with MaxMix

The picture shows the temperature distribution of the sludge in Hässleholm's two digesters. After less than 15 minutes of starting up the jet agitation system, the temperature was evenly distributed. Our agitation systems use a Vaughan cutting pump. This sucks up the sludge from the bottom and pushes the sludge back through our MAF jet nozzles. With our system, you get total agitation, which we show by measuring the temperature of the sludge at the bottom, in the middle and at the top. Our system has no moving parts inside the tank which minimises sedimentation and increases gas production.
